Once you're done, when you start the game you'll notice the capacity of the silos being higher.
The files are small, so you may or may not see the message about it compressing the files.
Then 'cut' (not copy) the file(s) you changed and paste them back into the 'farmSilos' folder. Once you change the amounts to your liking, close the file and tell it to save the changes. Maybe you can use higher numbers but I'm not sure how high of numbers the game will recognize. (That's 2 billion for the large silo, 500 million for the small silo, and 1.5 billion for the silo extension). And the silo extension I changed to 1500000000. I changed the capacity of the small silo to 500000000. I changed the capacity of the large silo (the ones placed on your farm when starting New Farmer mode) to 2000000000. You will find two places in each file, one called followed by the current capacity of the silo (it's about a fourth of the way down from the top), and the other is called capacityPerFillType= followed by the current capacity. In each one search for the phrase 'capacity'. Then open which ever file(s) you want to change. Copy and paste any of those three files that you want to save into another folder (I pu them in my 'Documents' folder). Inside that folder there are files titled 'farmSiloLarge.xml', 'farmSiloSmall.xml', and 'siloExtension.xml'. In that folder there is a folder called 'farmSilos'. The multiplayer will not work anymore." In your Program Files (x86)/Farming Simulator 2019/ data there is a folder called 'placeables'. However don't do that unless you aren't planning on playing multiplayer because it says "Do not modify any files here. But I know changing it only in the careersavegame.xml won't do it.įYI if you're interested in doing it, I've also altered the capacity of the silos. I don't know if it has to be changed in both or not, I didn't try just changing it in the farms.xml only. Once I did it there, then it showed in the game that I had 500 million (lol). So I searched each file for 'money' and found another place to change it.in the farms.xml on the top line there is another place to change 'money'.
So I knew there has to be another place too. But I found that alone won't do it, when I changed it there my cash remained at 100 thousand dollars. In the savegame folder, as you said, there is a place in the careersavegame.xml where you can change the amount of money you have. In FS19 there are two places you'll find 'money'.
